While developing and writing a story, I tend to create a playlist specific to that book. The soundtrack features songs I can imagine playing during a part of the book much like in a movie.
I took a break from revisions on my novel to create an official soundtrack for THE MARRYING TYPE, the working title for my recently-completed book. In addition to being songs that work with the plot, each of the songs are something I imagine being on my main character's playlist or on her car radio.
Check it out if you're interested and someday when you read it, you can decide if the songs fit.
"Stronger" by Kelly ClarksonI'm curious, do any of you writers do the same thing? Any songs you'd like to share that come to mind for one of your projects?
